Ricky Ashworth’s much-anticipated tandem ride at Sunday’s Ben Fund Bonanza will be assisted by 1993 World Champion Sam Ermolenko who will be shadowing Ricky around the Paul Chapman Arena raceway.
Bonanza organiser Paul Ackroyd said “We are very happy to have the support of such a respected champion and it is particularly appropriate because Sam was Ricky’s hero in his riding days.
“Sam is very keen to support the cause and has been impressed with the progress Ricky has made and the determination he is displaying. He will also be taking part during the afternoon in the Track Walks which some supporters have signed up for.”
